R. Reed Heddleston

Reed Heddleston joined The Louthan Group, Inc (“TLG”) in 2012 to offer an expanding range of Corporate Finance Consulting services to small and medium sized businesses. Before joining TLG, Mr. Heddleston was a Senior Vice President for Mergers and Acquisitions with Science Applications International Corporation, A Fortune 500 Company in McLean, Virginia.
Mr. Heddleston has fourteen years of corporate management experience, primarily Research and Development management with revenue responsibilities that exceeded $200 million on an annual basis. He led the Operation that developed, modified and deployed surveillance aircraft to Iraq and Afghanistan directly supporting coalition forces from 2005 to the present time.
Before embarking on his Corporate career, Mr. Heddleston served twenty-six years in the U. S. Air Force as a Pilot, Commander and Staff Officer at various command levels from 1972 to 1998. He retired from the Office of the Secretary of Defense in 1998 as a Colonel and Command Pilot.
Mr. Heddleston has a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the Virginia Military Institute (1970) and a Masters of Business Administration from the Gouzieta School at Emory University (1972) where he was Class President. He is a Distinguished Graduate of the Industrial college of the Armed Forces (1994). Mr. Heddleston has a Top Secret/ SCI clearance.
Mr. Heddleston a member of the Board of Directors for Cleared Solutions, Inc. and the Historic Pohick Foundation. He has served as a Vestryman and President of the Brotherhood of St. Andrews, Pohick Episcopal Church, Lorton Virginia.
